A lot of Personas in general seem to stabilize if they have good relationships with the heroes. Moreso if they have knight patrons.

That would explain Beauty and Maleficent. Brother Deer possibly, but he's off right now. And Nimue promised to tell me if she had to run a game that would be damaging. I can't say for sure on others.

It's not a requirement to be. And I think it's an important decision to make for yourself if you do and who with. The only Persona I know of who regularly changes knights is Firebird.

Certainly, but they must be willing to accept you as well. If you intend to pair yourself, you would need to befriend them first.

Although to be honest you would likely worry a great many people in the process.
